Spa Etiquette: Creating a Relaxing and Respectful Spa Experience
At MARUNDE Skin, we strive to provide a tranquil and rejuvenating environment where you can escape the stresses of everyday life. It is a top priority to remain a private clientelle spa that maintains client privacy and an individualized experience. MARUNDE Skin is NOT a big box spa or MedSpa. To ensure that every guest enjoys an intimate, luxury spa experience to the fullest, we kindly ask that you observe the following spa etiquette guidelines. By adhering to these guidelines, you help create a harmonious atmosphere for all spa visitors.
1. Arriving on Time and waiting in the designated space until your provider is ready for you: Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows you begin your relaxation journey without feeling rushed. Arriving on time also ensures that all guests receive their full treatment duration.
Waiting in the designated area will ensure the guest before you will experience a discreet, unrushed exit and will allow your provider the time required to create a tranquil environment for you.
2. Communication is Key: Open communication is vital to ensure that your spa experience meets your expectations. Before your treatment, feel free to discuss any specific concerns, preferences, or allergies with your therapist. They will be happy to tailor the treatment to your needs and make you as comfortable as possible. If it is your first time, please make sure to complete your New Client Consultation Form in advance as to not cut into treatment time.
3. Respectful Behavior: In order to maintain a serene ambiance, we kindly request that all guests keep noise levels to a minimum. Refrain from using your cell phone or engaging in loud conversations within the general spa area. This allows everyone to fully relax and unwind.
4. Appropriate Attire: Our spa provides comfortable robes for you to use during your visit. Please wear appropriate undergarments during treatments and remove any jewelry or accessories that may interfere with your experience.
5. Personal Hygiene: To ensure a hygienic and pleasant environment for all guests, we kindly ask that you maintain good personal hygiene. Prior to your spa visit, please shower and remove any excess body lotions, oils, or perfumes. This helps preserve the cleanliness and integrity of our facilities.
6. Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to accommodate other guests and optimize our scheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
7. Gratuities: Gratuities are not included in the service prices at MARUNDE Skin. While uneccessary, If you wish to show appreciation for exceptional service, you may leave a gratuity for your therapist at your discretion.
8. Health Considerations: For your safety and the well-being of other guests, please inform us of any health conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect your ability to receive certain treatments. This allows our team to provide appropriate recommendations and make necessary adjustments to your spa experience.
10. Feedback and Suggestions: We highly value your feedback and suggestions as we continually strive to improve our services. Please feel free to share your thoughts with our staff or provide feedback through our guest satisfaction surveys. Your input helps us enhance the overall spa experience for all our guests.
